THIRD GRADE April 7th Dear Lord, The Beatitudes teach us how to find everlasting happiness.  We are poor in spirit because we know that we need God more than anything. We try to help those who are hurting. We  use the gifts that God has given us to help others. We share things we have with those in need. We forgive anyone who has hurt us. We try to bring God’s peace to the world. We stand up for what is right.   Happy are we, the children of God.  Amen.   February 4 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. We thank you for giving us good health. We pray for the brave soldiers far from home. Keep them safe from all harm. We ask you to watch over us, our families, the homeless, the people out of work, and the elderly. We pray that as Lent begins this week, we will think about the great sacrifice Jesus gave us by dying on the cross for us. We pray for all we know who have died. Keep them in your loving care. Through Christ our Lord, Amen. November 26th Loving Father, Last week we celebrated Thanksgiving. Please help us to be truly thankful for all of the blessings you bestow upon us. Help us to be better Christians by sharing what we have with those who have less. We pray for all who are sick. May they be blessed with good health soon. We pray for the men and women serving in the military. Keep them safe and bring them home soon. We pray these petitions in Your Name. Amen October 10th Dear God, Bless all of your children here at St. Ann's School. Help us always to do our best in school, so we can learn new things each day. Bless our teachers and staff to guide us on our way to heaven. Bless our families and friends. May their love be our support as we learn each day to be more like Jesus.
